Funeral services for Albert Fredrick Mitchell were Friday, Nov. 10, 2006, at First United Methodist Church in Moulton with Rod Morgan officiating. Lawrence Funeral Home directed.

Burial was in Hickory Grove CP Church Cemetery.

Mr. Mitchell died Wednesday, Nov. 8, at NHC Healthcare of Moulton. He was born June 1, 1917, in Lawrence County to William Ruben Mitchell and Sarah Jane Nolen Mitchell. He was a self-employed barber.

Mr. Mitchell was preceded in death by his wife, Glen Cagle Mitchell, and one son, Roland Mitchell.

Survivors include one daughter, Wannell Scott of Florence; one brother, Dan Mitchell of Milton, Fla.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were Freddie Stephenson, A.M. Stephenson, Bobby Stephenson, Billy C. Mitchell, Jerry Mitchell and David Goodlett.

Funeral service for Glen C. Mitchell was Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2005, at First United Methodist Church of Moulton with the Rev. Larry Wright, the Rev. Carl Long and the Rev. Rod Morgan officiating. Lawrence Funeral Home directed.

Burial was in Hickory Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Mitchell died Saturday, Sept. 10, at Lawrence Medical Center. She was born Jan. 10, 1921, in Lawrence County to Houston Cagle and Annie Lee Radford Cagle. She was a beauty shop owner.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Roland Mitchell.

Survivors include her husband, Albert Mitchell; one daughter, Wannell Scott of Florence; two brothers, Vern Cagle of Dallas, Texas, and Don Cagle of Largo, Fla.; six sisters, Marie Holderfield of Decatur, Dorothy Appleton and Margaret Martin, both of Moulton, Elizabeth Baker of Phil Campbell, and Freida Jordan and Pat Clements, both of Madison; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were A.M. Stephenson, Freddy Stephenson, Billy C. Mitchell, Tim Martin, Dennis Holderfield and Michael Jordan.
